Grimes Wiki

Songs that have been wrongfully attributed to Grimes (and sometimes deliberately made with the intent to mislead fans into thinking they are actual Grimes songs):

  • Neuromancer[4]
  • Unrequited love[4] (lyric from IDORU)

  • Homo- Techno[4] (name of a podcast started by Grimes and Liv Boeree)
  • God Emperor[4]

  • Miss Information[5] (name of a colouring book released by Grimes)

  • Eternal Martyr[5]
  • Ivory (alternative name for Hedra)
  • Swan Lake (stemming from her interview with Vanity fair where a song is described as a "cyberpunk spin on Swan Lake" referring to the ballet dance of the same name; Cyberpunk Swan Lake appears on her Cyberpunk 2077 mixtape.)

  • Holy Crusades (A phrase seen in the Chaos Manual)

  • At Versailles[5] (a title similar to a real title, Nymphs At Versailles)

Grimes is credited (as Claire Boucher) as a backing vocalist on Sean Nicholas Savage's album Spread Free Like A Butterfly. He also released an album called Movin Up in Society and although Grimes is not credited, certain songs on the album have backing vocals that sound like her:

  • Gemini Heart
  • Giant In The Sky
  • Crazy People
  • Paradise O Paradise
  • Movin Up In Society
  • Golden Dream
  • The Laughter Of Bad Men
  • The Bird Nest Problem

Other songs thought by some to have Grimes as a backing vocalist:

  • Blood Diamonds - Aries
  • Blood Diamonds - Feral Envelope
  • Blood Diamonds - Heart
