These are the rules of the Grimes Wiki, a community library about Grimes that anyone can and is welcome to contribute to! However, in order to maintain a level of professionalism, civility, and good reputation, it is necessary to comply with the basic rules listed below:
- 1. Do not vandalize, delete, or alter already existing information without a good reason.
This is self-explanatory. Intentionally ruining what has been built and written, without providing a better substitute, is forbidden.
- 2. Do not create posts or write information about sensitive personal information of Grimes.
While personal notes by themselves are not forbidden, especially where applicable like the Grimes page, do not write overly personal and/or irrelevant information about c, her kids, her friends or her ex-partners anywhere on the wiki.
- 3. Be respectful to fellow members of the wiki.
Anyone can be an editor and viewer, and this means that people with differing levels of English proficiency, knowledge, and skill are present here. Do not discriminate, harrass, or insult anyone for any reason. Rather, stay kind and sort any misundestandings out with respectful dialogue. In case you need an arbiter, contact staff.
- 4. When writing something as fact, cite source/s.
When adding objective information, you must provide a source (citation) to it, otherwise it can be thought as false. Try to cite Grimes or other primary/reputable sources like interviews, tweets, news articles or other content stemming from her. If you cannot do that, but know the information is true, add 'citation needed' so that others know a source is missing!
- 5. Write clearly, concisely, objectively, and in English.
Anything you write must be written without personal bias, comments, opinion, attitude. Present information as it is. If you want to express yourself, you can do that in the comments sections. Help on formatting can be found here.
- 6. Administrators hold final say over any matter in the wiki.
Admins, the main developers and subject experts of the wiki, can overule anything that exists, as they are in essence the owners of the wiki. But this power has rarely been exercised, and hopefully will not be needed to be used.
- 7. Abide by the terms of service of Fandom.
Grimes Wiki is an affiliate of the Fandom organization, and thus anything that happens here cannot contradict the official regulations and terms of use. You can read them here.
