Scream (stylized as SCREAM) is a promotional single by Grimes, featuring Aristophanes. It is the third track on her fourth studio album, Art Angels, and was released as the second promotional single.
Background[]
The original solo version of the song was sung in the fictional language of Dothraki.[1][2]
Grimes stated through her Twitter that this is perhaps the darkest track on the album,[citation needed] she also said:[3]
❝ SCREAM is my first producer track, the terrifying and beautiful Aristophanes is the lead vocalist, and Grimes did the screaming. ❞
When on tour, Grimes performed an alternate version, "Ya Vas Lyubil",[4] taken from the Russian poem of the same name.
