11th: at first i didnt like this painting very much cuz it looks like a poster for something on nickelodeon but now im kinda into that idea i guess. but im debating whether or not i should fill it in with water colours. i never use colours but somehow this one feels like it won’t feel finished until i add colours but ive never really done that in any serious capacity so im stressin
unlike recording music u can’t control + Z on paintings so if i screw it up its forever gone

so before governers ball im playing a ‘warm up’ show in burlington, vermont because this will be the first debut of some new material so i want to try it in front of a smaller audience before taking it to a big crazy festival stage haha

it is like, mouse brown, the most boring of all hair colours. but the older i get the more i come to terms with this reality. it sucks cuz most people in my family have either black hair or super blonde hair and yet i am stuck in between. quite a shame.
also notice my soundproofing/ dampening techniques - blankets and cardboard - works very well i can get a very clean vocal take in this room

this was like 1.5 years ago and i still think about her like, at least once a month and ponder what she does when shes not posing with tourists. like i wonder if shes normal or if she is a spy or something

15th: had like a really liberating moment where i decided that i should just draw from my soul and not bother with any reference material or a pre existing idea in my head or whatever and i started just kinda freely letting my hand go and i drew a decapitated girl and a can full of disembodied penises
i wonder what the freudian meaning of this is
