5th: so i finally got harvest moon a new beginning for 3ds and i got it on the e-shop (so no plastic ^_^)
I think its awesome that more and more games are coming out where you have the option to play a female character. but i’m finding that i can’t relate to the female characters since i’ve played male characters since i was like, 9. I mean, part of it is that i just want a wife
but u know, in pokemon y i wasnt really down playing as a girl either. it was easier when there was less customization because the characters were kind of genderless but now theres all this stuff i dunno. i preferred projecting onto a blank canvas rather than like, having to define myself in the game using these static gendered parameters. does this make any sense to other people? am i insane? i just want to farm digitally without worrying about my outfit

14th: Painting again. any requests / suggestions for subject matter?
I was planning to do a photo for my album cover but now I think I might do a painting as I have with all the others
I know i fixate on skulls but I get really morbid and sad whenever I start painting
Also this isn’t done so done judge it yet, I also haven’t legit painted in over a year besides that t shirt design that I basically modeled after a clamp drawing so it’s not super original
It will take a minute to get back into the swing of things technically, but I’m bored of music right now and I’m taking a break from it so it seems like a good time to make posters and an album cover

16th: I am slowly transitioning this blog into a food blog in hopes that someone will eventually pay me to eat
I’ve blocked tumblr on my computer for a month so I have to write from James’ iPad but my fingers are too clumsy to type on this damned keyboard so I wont be able to actually write any reviews until self control expires, but at that point i will be able to reveal all the best restaurants in vancouver

basically the weekend was eventful, from a social perspective. smoked my first cigar, then subsequently threw up. i dont think smoking cigars is particularly enjoyable and will likely result in early death so probably not a good idea. went to the house where they filmed godfather and posed by a pool. ultimately tho, i feel like parties are kind of questionable unless there is free food. had some awesome miniature sandwiches involving tomatoes, pesto and bread.
met a small french bulldog who was very nice. my step dad got to meet rihanna, but he thinks her name is brianna.
