12th: i think one of my main issues with any adaptations of dune is that its presented as like kind of a protagonist hero driven story whereas like, maybe a game of thrones esque presentation would work better, u know. like between channi, alia, jessica, irulen etc you’ve got all these separate story lines and 3 dimensional female characters but its always presented as like PAUL IS THE HERO (he is a hero of course) but it kind of waters down a lot of the things that are unique and special about it. like, as a kid i loved it cuz i was rooting for alia and like there were all these worlds and plots and technological intrigues and the span of time/ space is like a crazy narrative tool. debatably game of thrones is more similar to dune than lotr structurally, its just like, superficially more similar to lotr u know haha ahgrhgh procrastinating

20th: the big city provides many convenient amenities, but i do occasionally miss the homeland *sigh peaceful canada (squamish, b.c.)
its soooo pretty ahh, especially in the harbour at sunset when the sky turns pink and people are like paragliding and theres a giant dinosaur insane tree stump thats just stuck on the shore, and its sea water even thought u can still see all the mountains and cliffs and forests. feels prehistoric

25th: my brother mac and i made our own press photos for the new song, he’s a really amazing photographer!
This is the first time I’ve been able to art direct my own press photos which makes me really happy. The look is an anime elf assassin who is a big fan of dolly parton and patsy cline. so stressed about releasing new music but at least now i can focus on more stuff instead of lingering
also we didn’t really have time to colour correct or whatever so they’re a bit dark cuz we caught the last sun - but we’ll prob make them better soon, pull out the orange tones but we have limited computer access rn
