10th: Alexis from sleigh bells has been working on project to educate abt chemicals in makeup/ shampoo etc.and how our government doesn’t regulate it at all. A lot of ingredients in common makeup are super toxic, bad for us + get down the drain and into ocean etc. (ultimately screwing things up for dolphins, fish, crabs, seagulls etc.)

13th: howdy ^_^
I really appreciate the kind words! but the constant/daily reassurance from fans, friends, family, co workers etc. that I ought not to worry about what other people say is truly unnecessary.
I honestly never ‘ditched an album due to negative fan reaction to go.’ Go did really well imo. obviously some people didn’t like it as it was different from my other material, but isn’t that the point of collaborations/ trying to write for other artists?
Some outlets ran w that story for no apparent reason and refuse to amend or take down despite the fact that it’s incorrect and there is no proof that it’s true lol
The rumour is complete nonsense.
The album was scrapped cuz it was depressing and I didn’t want to tour it. I may release it one day. this all happened before Go was ever released.
I throw out music all the time, i have almost 1000 gigs of unreleased music on my hard drive. I just want the next album to be as good as possible.

16th: Hey Y’all!
So in support of the National Observer kickstarter I’ve got 2 different pieces of my art up for auction on ebay. One original painting, and a limited print of 6 entropy posters
100% of the proceeds go to supporting the observer, they are expanding the paper so that it can go national.
The main reason I love the Observer is for their dedication to Canada’s environmental issues. How the Canadian gov has been silencing non profits with audits, and basically acting like complete creeps, taking money from oil companies, ignoring the communities who are noticing health issues related to tar sands or fracking, the massive environmental damage from oil spills - all that kinda stuff. The observer has broken a bunch of important stories and won awards for their journalism. If we don’t stay aware and actively shut down proposals like keystone XL there could be massive environmental/ Social consequences in and outside Canada.
The governments willingness ignore the people who are often in opposition to these proposals is disturbing.
if your at all inclined the bidding will support something that I think is a great cause
