Welcome To The Opera is a single by Anyma and Grimes. The song is the second track from Anyma's album Genesys.

Background[]

On May 21, 2022, Welcome to the Opera opened Grimes' DJ set at the Electric Daisy Carnival; on Twitter she replied to a fan saying she would like to release it but wanted to edit the song more.[1] On June 20, she said it would be "coming soon."[2]

On June 1, 2023, Anyma announced the song's release date of June 8.[3][dead link] On the same day Grimes told a fan that she had "traded" Welcome to the Opera for another song she made with him.[4]
